University of Ghana Athletics festival Begins Today

This year's University of Ghana Athletics meeting will be held at the school from Friday, November 10 to Saturday, November 11.

Mr S.K. Aduakwah, Chairman of the Amalgamated Sports of the University who announced this in Accra on Monday, said the two-day festival, aimed at unearthing talents to represent the University in an international competition, is being sponsored by The Trust Bank.

He appealed to Halls of the University to make this year's competition a successful one. Mr Aduakwah also thanked the bank for again sponsoring this year's event and appealed to other institutions to emulate the Trust Bank.

The opening ceremony will be performed by the ,Vice-chancellor of the University, Professor Ivan Addae Mensah on Friday, at 1330 hours.
