U-17 AFCON: Black Starlets to camp Jan. 5

Ghana’s national U-17 team, the Black Starlets, will start camping on 05 January for the 2017 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Madagascar.

The current Black Starlets squad has majority of its squad in Senior High Schools and therefore had to break camp for them to concentrate on their education for the term.

The team will have three months to prepare before the tournament starts on April 2.

The tournament will be played from 02-16 April with semi-finalists qualifying to the FIFA U17 World Cup finals in India.

Group A – Madagascar, Guinea, Cameroon, Ghana

Group B – Mali, Congo, Angola, Niger
