Two English clubs join chase to sign Daniel Opare

Ghana International Daniel Opare has emerged as a transfer targets for English clubs Watford and Burnley in the January transfer window according to reports in England.

The two Premier League sides are keen to strengthen their right-back during the transfer window.

Burnley is set to veteran Phil Bardsley out of contract next summer and are keen on finding a replacement.

Opare who currently plays for Belgium side Antwerp has not played for the club all season after sustaining a serious injury.

Opare sustained a knee injury during a preseason friendly against KFC Brasschaat and had undergo surgery.

The marauding right-back has been working hard on his rehabilitation at the club's training facility.

Reports reaching GHANASoccernet.com indicate that the 28-year-old is line to make a return to first team action in the winter.
