Turkish Club Sivasspor announce Isaac Cofie signing

Isaac Cofie has signed a two-year deal with Turkish Super Lig side Sivasspor with an option to further extend the contract to three years.

The midfielder leaves Spanish side Sporting Gijon after just one season with the Club.

Sivasspor announced they have secured the services of the former Ghana youth player.

Cofie’s 25 appearances for Gijon last season only saw him score once for the Club. His import in games however drew Sivasspor interest in signing him.

The 28-year-old who spent ten years in Italy playing for the likes of Genoa, Torino, Sassuolo, Carpi, Chievo Verona and Piacenza will seek to challenge himself more with his latest move to Turkey.
