Torino to decide Afriyie Acquah’s future

Italian Serie A side Torino will decide in the coming days whether to main Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah or part ways with him.

The aggressive holding midfielder made only 12 starts and came from the bench ten times for the Turin-based club just this ended season and his future is in doubt with his contract set to expire on June 30, 2019.

According to Toro News, manager Walter Mazzarri together with the board of The Maroons will meet Acquah and his agent in the coming days to discuss his future and see what will be best for both parties.

Acquah who has played for several Italian clubs namely Palermo, Parma and Sampdoria has already attracted interest from Genoa who are likely to sell fellow Ghanaian Isaac Cofie.

Currently, Acquah is valued a little over 2 million Euros.
