Top players available as Free Agents this summer

Ghana midfielder is among stellar Europe-based footballers who will be available on a free transfer next June.

The Olympique Marseille has rejected a contract extension and has been linked with a host of clubs including Liverpool and Newcastle.

10. Andre Ayew

The 24 year old Ghanian Winger will be available for free as his contract with the French Club Marseille is set to expire this summer. He has been a part of the French club since 2010 and has scored close to 36 goals in his 130 appearances for the Club. This young winger would come in handy for sides who lack firepower in their ranks and it would be a good deal as he is available for free.

9. Andriy Yarmolenko

Andriy Yarmolenko at present plays for Ukranian Club Dynamo Kyiv and was a youth product of this club and he started his career in 2006 and since then has made 146 appearances for his club in which he has scored around 54 goals. This winger is known for his pace and acceleration, considering he’s just 24 and his contract is set to expire this summer, it would not be a bad idea for any small premier clubs to sign him .

8. Sebastian Giovincio

The Italian Sebastian Giovincio at present plays as a second striker for the Italian Giants Juventus and his contract is not extended till date which means he would be available for a free transfer this summer. I am sure many clubs would be interested in signing the young Italian who is well known for his play making, dribbling skills and his free kicks are not bad either.

7. Ron Vlaar

The 29 year old Dutch man is a well-seasoned center back who has proved his skills time and again in international stage, he was one of the finest defenders of the 2014 World cup. At present he plays for Aston Villa and is all set to leave the club this summer. Considering the defending woes Man United has, Vlaar would be a perfect fit into that Red Devil back line providing a mixture of well needed experience with the youth that they already have.

6. James Milner

The 28 year old English midfielder James Milner is very much familiar with the fans as he plays his club football for the Premier League Champions Manchester City. He is all set to leave the English Club this summer. I am sure many premier league clubs would make the move considering he is an established mid fielder who has experience of playing in the highest level.

5. Nigel De Jong

The Dutchman Nigel De Jong at present plays for Italian Giants AC Milan and considering his contract expires this summer, many clubs most definitely be interested in signing him as he provides a perfect defensive shield in mid field and has established himself overtime as one of the hard defending midfielders.

4. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Huntelaar was once compared to the likes of Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Van Basten when he first arrived in the footballing world as he had the most incredible of first touches that any player can dream of. At present he is a striker with German club Shalke and will be available for free next summer. He is one of the prolific strikers and he proved it once again when he scored against the defensively stronger Chelsea in the champions League game last week.

3. Giorgio Chiellini

For years together the Italian has been doing a commendable job in the Juventus back line up and even now is one of the best center backs in the world. Considering that his availability is for free this summer, many leading European Clubs would be racing to sign him first as he is that much an important player who could change the outcome of a game just through his sheer defensive skills.

2. Sami Khedira

Sami Khedira at the start of this season had expressed his desire to leave Real Madrid but with Di Maria leaving the Club the coach Ancelotti convinced him to stay on further it the new squad settles down. It is to believed that the Los Blancos are all set to leave him this summer and i am sure leading clubs line Arsenal would line up to sign the German who can be a real asset to any line up considering his ball holding skills and pass accuracy.

1. Victor Valdes

Ever since Victor Valdes ended his contract with Spanish Giants Barcelona last season citing severe injury, he has been a free agent .It is reported that he has completely healed from his injury and is all set to return to action this summer. It is expected that the Reds have already reached a deal with him but i am sure many top clubs would compete to sign him as he was one of the greatest keepers in La Liga during his stint with the Catalan giants.
