In-form Ghanaian striker, Richmond Boakye Yiadom is set for a career defining big money move this summer with many top clubs across Europe keen to sign the striker following the termination of his contract with now bankrupt Italian side, Latina.

SportsnetGhana.com can exclusively reveal that Boakye is now a free agent and could sign for any club of his choice wiyh a plethora of suitors having queued up desperate to grab the man whose goals have lighted Serbian football.

The 24 year old has scored 16 goals in 19 games for Serbian giants, Red Star Belgrade where he has been on loan since February and will become a free agent after his last game against rivals, Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian Cup final tomorrow, the same side Red Star finished runner-up to in the just ended 2016/17 Serbian top flight campaign.

Boakye still has two years remaining on the €2m contract he signed with Latina last summer after joining from Atalanta on a 3-year deal. But Latina were this week confirmed relegated to Serie C after being docked five points for not paying players’ salaries for the better part of the season and declared bankrupt meaning Boakye-Yiadom and other contracted players are free to take a walk.

"More clubs are asking of him and I can tell you that it would be the biggest move for the player. A career changing move for him," a source close to Boakye Yiadom said.
