With the Ghana Premier League set to start on Saturday, your No.1 football website GHANASoccernet.com continues its massive build up.

The spotlight has turned to goalkeepers who are expected to make the top-flight thick with some breathtaking saves and antics.

Here are a pick of FIVE gloves men who are tipped impressive greatly in the new season.

Kwame Osei (Inter Allies): He was one of the best goalkeeper of last season with some commanding displays between the sticks for Inter Allies. He made 27 appearances, 13 clean sheets and conceded 18 (0.66 per game) The signing of Kwame Baah from relegated Heart of Lions should bring the best out of him.

Muntari Tagoe (Medeama): Tagoe captains the Mauve and Yellows and a real motivator for the side. He is one of the experienced players in the Ghana Premier League and was a pillar at the back when Medeama won the 2015 Ghana FA Cup.

Richard Ofori (Wa All Stars): The Ghana international has come on in leaps and bounds and tipped to put up another big performance. In All Stars’ pre-season tour of Saudi Arabia, he conceded just one goal three friendly matches against top-flight sides. Ofori was named Ghana Premier League Best Goalkeeper for last season.

Razak Abalora (WAFA SC): Abalora is ready to be installed first choice goalkeeper for the Academy side despite the signing of experienced Philemon McCarthy but the latter lacks match fitness. Abalora is a shot-stopper and can command his backline too. He is young and focused but must work on his temperament.

Razak Iddrisu (Techiman City FC): Iddrisu played a key role in the club historic qualification to the Premier League. Last season his exploits earned him the best goalkeeper award for the 2014/2015 season. He beat off competition from Elmina Sharks goalie Joseph Essam and Ismael Yahaya of Dreams FC.
