Former Black Stars striker, Anthony Yeboah, has advised Kotoko players to develop a tough mental attitude if they are to be successful at the club and in their careers as a whole.

The former Leeds United goal poacher who also played for Frankfurt and Humburg FC in Germany, said Kotoko players needed to be resolute psychologically.

He pointed out that football demands that players are always strong in the mind besides being in good shape physically.

The respected former footballer known for scoring spectacular goals in his playing days, gave the advice while interacting with the players at his hotel, Yegoala Hotel, in Kumasi on Monday.

He observed that, although the current players are talented, they would only achieve their goals as footballers if they worked on their talent.

Yeboah further told them to be professional; disciplined while keeping a positive attitude on and off the pitch.

He thus charged them to be mindful of their lifestyle. The Black Stars legend wished them well in Monday’s Super 2 against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.
