Tom Strand has rubbished claims he resigned from Medeama due to the club's involvement in match-fixing, revealing it's a ridiculous fabrication.
The Swedish trainer quit the club under bizarre circumstances after the side's 3-1 defeat at Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off.
Strand's local representative Darlene Nana Akwasi had claimed the 33-year-old resigned from the role due to the club's involvement in match-fixing.
But the former Bechem United gaffer has rubbished the claims insisting it's absolutely false.
"It is a lie and you are the first person am speaking to in Ghana ever since I arrived in Sweden." he told Accra-based Happy FM
The two-time Ghanaian FA Cup holders are expected to report the Swedish to FIFA in the coming days.
