Accra, Mar 3, GNA - The Three Member Committee formed by Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, Chief Patron of Ebusua Dwarfs and Omanhene of Oguaa Traditional Council, has made a four-point recommendation aimed at restructuring the relegated Club.
The Committee made up of Mr S.N. Brew Butler, a Business and Project Developer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Club and Share holder, Mr George Tachie-Menson, a retired Educationist and former Secretary of the Club and Mr Kweku Fynn Essiam, a former Management Member of the Club and a senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of Ghana maintained that, the Club remains a Limited Liability Company owned by shares.
The Committee also suggested that the Board of Directors be enlarged to 25 members with each prospective Director paying a minimum of 25 million cedis within a prescribed period as equity to qualify as a Director.
Also recommended by the Committee is the appointment of General Manager for the Club on full time basis and the concept of club membership, (Ebusuafuo) should immediately replace that of the supporters and task force as well as the encouragement of the fans to buy the Club's shares.
A statement signed by Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, copied to the GNA Sports in Accra also directed the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Club to hand over all assets including the players licenses to his office with immediate effect.
The statement also directed the IMC to liquidate a substantial part of such indebtedness as recorded in the draft accounts presented by the IMC.
The statement added that, the Committee's terms of office has been extended for a period of eight weeks to enable them carry on with the reconstruction exercise. It expressed its appreciation to all stakeholders for their co-operation and called for unity in the Club.
