Thomas Partey comes off the bench to help Atletico beat Rayo Vallecano

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey came off the bench to help Atletico Madrid beat Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday.

The versatile midfielder came on in the 38th minute for right back Juanfran who seemed uncomfortable after picking a knock.

French world cup winner Antoine Griezman scored the only goal in the 63 minute to secure the capital based club their first win of the season.

Partey is yet to start for the rojiblancos but has been involved in all of the club's games in the La Liga this season.
