To All Atheletes, Including Foreign Based

COMMUNIQUE BY GHANA ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION

At the last meeting of Ghana Athletics Association which was held on Thursday 29th April 2004, the following communiqu? were issued.

i. That the African Senior Championships in Congo Brazzaville will be the final selection of athletes to the Olympic Games.

i. Notwithstanding any previous standards or marks achieved in any period, all athletes or any athlete aspiring to participate in Athens Olympic Games should avail him/herself of the opportunity of African Senior Championships for the final selection.

ii. Failure to respond to the invitation to participate in the championships in Brazzaville, the athlete is automatically out of the Olympic team.
