President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has given the clearest indication that there is no impasse between him and his vice, George Afriyie.

Kwesi Nyantakyi and George Afriyie were said to have loggerheads after his right-hand man sent him a text message describing him as ‘’greedy, wicked and selfish’’.

This emerged after the duo engaged in a public spat in the United States when Black Stars took on Mexico and USA in international friendlies last year.

It was reported that the CAF 1st vice quizzed George Afriyie on why he allowed Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan to pay for bills with his master card while George Afriyie also accused Kwesi Nyantakyi of keeping him in the dark over the arrangements of the friendlies Ghana played in the United States.

However, the alleged tension came to bare when Nyantakyi snubbed his second in command during the launch of the WAFU Nations Cup Tournament in Accra last year.

And speaking to Accra based Vision 1 FM in an interview, the FIFA Executive Committee Member says he has does not have any problem with his vice anymore.

“I don’t have any problem with my vice [George Afriyie],” he told Vision 1 FM.

“We had some problems last year but I don’t want to talk about it because it is a thing of the past but I believe in any corporate institution there will be disagreement but you will definitely move on and that also proves you are matured enough.

“There will surely be disagreement but when it happens you put it behind you because we are human beings and I want to confirm that I don’t have any problem with my vice,” he added.
