Head coach of Tema Youth Edward Odoom says he is content with his side’s performance in their week 8 1-0 defeat to Inter Allies at the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Monday.

The Harbour City boys could not continue from where they left off last Wednesday when they defeated premier league giants Hearts of Oak 2-1 as they succumbed to the pressure of Inter Allies and lost by 1-0 courtesy Ackwei Wahab’s first half header.

Nevertheless, in coach Edward Odoom’s post-match interview, he expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players despite their loss.

“My players are used to playing on grass pitches but we managed the situation on this bumpy pitch very well. We were better than our opponents, who were just hoofing the ball and chasing it but we were tactically possessing the ball but it’s one of those things,” Odoom said.

“I’m satisfied with my boys despite the frustration from the officials because every 50-50 ball went their way but I don’t feel let down by that because at the end of the day it’s football, you win, draw or lose.”

Tema Youth maintained their 7th position on the log despite the lose with 10 points whiles Inter Allies shoots up to 12th with 9 points after match day 8.
