Tema Golf President's Putter Today

More than 100 golfers will today, assemble at Tema to vie for the Tema Country Golf Club President's Putter.

Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, Acting Manager of the club, told GNA Sports on Wednesday that the one-day 18 hole stable-ford competition, opened to professional and amateur members of the club, is being sponsored by Mrs Y.O. Kim, President of the club.

He said entry requirement for the Men's is handicap 18 while those of the Ladies is handicap 24.

Mr Adablanu said very attractive prizes have been put at stake and urged the participants to give of their best and win the prizes.

Participants will use the event to sharpen their strokes for the Linde Open Championship scheduled for the same venue on March one, he said.

The acting manager said an annual general meeting of the club would be held in the afternoon of the same day to accept the Captain and Treasurer's reports, the audited accounts as well as approve development projects for the year.
