The Management of Zone One GN Bank Division One League leaders, Techiman City FC have issued a statement acknowledging receipt of the decision of the Appeals Committee in the matter between their outfit and Wa Africa United in which the latter accused the former of bribery allegations.

In a Press Release issued by the club President, Kwadwo Ntim ‘Micky Charles’, the Techiman-based club maintains they have qualified for the top flight league next season hinting that they are organizing themselves for a proper legal showdown with the judicial bodies of the FA.

Below is the Press Release:

PRESS RELEASE

Techiman City FC have received a decision from the Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

Even though we are satisfied with the ruling, we also noticed mistakes in the decision delivered on Monday, hence have decided to test the decision at the next level in the GFA judicial system for the avoidance of doubt.

We noticed among others, that the decision was from the Appeals Panel instead of a Review Panel without quoting the relevant articles from the GFA regulations.

Techiman City FC will apply for a review of the decision and always support the development of our game.

Techiman City FC is ready and able to fight any machinations to its logical legal end of the Ghanaian legal system.

The media can contact our lead counsel on 0203001355 for clarification.

Sporting Regards
