Techiman City FC gets Technical boost from UK

The technical department of Techiman based Division One side, Techiman City FC, has been given a tremendous boost by the arrival of former Fulham Academy coach, Frederick Okyere.

Okyere arrived in the country on Friday and is expected to commence training with the team today as well as organising a series of training programs for the technical department of Techiman City FC.

Coach Frederick Okyere who has had stints with Brentford FC as well as Fulham FC has vast experience and is believed to use his two weeks stay in the country to assist the technical direction of the Division One outfit.

According to the President and Bankroller of Techiman City FC, Micky Charles, the arrival of the renowned British coach will impact positively on the technical direction of the club.

"The arrival of Frederick will obviously assist our coaches to expand their scope as he will bring a lot on board. Fred has great experience which we will be tapping and his arrival will surely boost the morale of the boys as well", Micky Charles exclusively told sportscrusader.com

"Frederick is also a scout who will also use the opportunity to scout for players for teams in the UK and other European clubs. So that alone will have a great telling effect on the performance of the team in our subsequent matches", he added.

The team won away over the weekend against Utrecht FC in the GNBDOL.
