Belaqua Mineral Water has marked its 15th anniversary with a health walk aimed at encouraging Ghanaians to prioritise their physical and mental well-being.
Speaking to GhanaWeb on October 3, 2026, Belaqua Mineral Water Brand Manager Maxine Akyiama Opoku-Ababio urged Ghanaians to recognise the importance of taking breaks and seeking support when necessary.
“Take a break when it’s necessary. You cannot handle it alone,” she said.
She explained that the health walk forms part of Belaqua’s anniversary activities and its efforts to give back to the community after 15 years of growth.
“You cannot achieve everything as a goal. That is why we have gathered here to encourage one another,” she said.
According to her, the initiative is also intended to remind consumers that achieving personal and professional goals should not come at the expense of their well-being.
“It’s been 15 years of growth as an iconic brand. We’ve come very far and we cannot celebrate this milestone alone,” she added.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Belaqua will on October 10, 2026, sell its 500ml bottled water for GH¢15 at selected company depots in Accra and Kumasi.
Maxine said the promotional price represents a significant reduction from the usual retail price of about GH¢29 to GH¢30.
“Come on the 10th of October as we celebrate a milestone and give you 500ml for just GH¢15,” she said.
The promotion will be available at selected depots in Accra and Kumasi, including 25 Depot, Tesano, Labone, ANC, Obojo, Spintex and North Industrial Area in Accra, as well as Daaban, Ahowjo and Asokwa in Kumasi.
Maxine encouraged Belaqua consumers and the general public to take advantage of the promotion as the brand celebrates its 15-year milestone.
“So why don’t you come on the 10th and experience the wonderful thing that Belaqua has to offer?” she added.
“Take a break when it’s necessary. You cannot handle it alone.”
