Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters T.J. Nelson from UK and Isaac Commey from Ghana have promised fireworks on Saturday at the Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The two fighters will battle each other in a show put together by Warriors Sports Championships (WSC) and it is under the auspices of Ghana Mixed Martial Arts Association.

At Friday’s weigh at the Accra Sports Stadium, Nelson weighed 65kg while Commey came in at 64.5kg.

“I’m here to entertain the fans in Ghana, i’m a Ghanaian born in UK so i’m not perturbed fighting in Ghana,” Nelson told the media after the weigh-in.

“I have prepared very well for this fight and i will take Commey down. I will stop him.”

Commey took his turn with the media and said, “I’m ready to fight him, i’m not intimated. I’m fired up for this fight.

“He said he will stop me, what i will say is he is entitled to his opinion. I want Ghanaians to come and enjoy MMA, i will definitely be the winner. I will not let my people down.”

The fight will start at exactly 5pm.
