Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has sent a goodwill message to the Black Stars ahead of the clash with Comoros this afternoon at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Ghana will be playing the Les Coelecantes of Comoros this afternoon in the second leg of the 2018 World Cup qualifier after drawing goalless with the visitors last Friday in Moroni.

The Kuwaiti-based defender, in a message to the team ahead of the clash on his facebook wall, wrote:

"I wish the Black Stars all the best in the game against Comoros this afternoon. It is my wish that we beat them massively to qualify for the next stage of the competition."

"Even though I was not invited by the coach for the game, I am with them in spirit and In Sha Allah, we will beat them."

"Go Ghana. Go Black Stars."

Rashid Sumaila was a member of the Black Stars side that represented Ghana at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
