Stop conjuring stories- Bashir task journalists

Ashanti Gold head coach Bashir Hayford has hit out at his critics who claim his sides always struggle in the second round of the season.

The former Asante Kotoko boss who won Ashanti Gold first premier league title in 19 years in the just ended First Capital Plus Bank Premier League season, believes second round of a season is always difficult for all teams and not only his.

He has asked Ghanaians to stop conjuring stories but always prove with imperial or scientific evidence, he choke when expectations are high.

"This (second round complex) is a question i don't want to answer," the two times Ghana premier league winning coach told Citi Fm.

"Because it is not backed by any imperial evidence, it is not backed by any statistical evidence. It is not backed by any scientific evidence. Bring me the statistics starting from Afienya to Medeama SC, bring me the statistics, showing that I fumble at the second round of every season.

"Statistics from my archives should be the talking point, use that to prove I have second round complex.

“Somebody sat somewhere and conjured something (I fail at second round of every season) and some people believe it. But i don't believe it."
