Statement: Go,Black Stars Go!!!

Once again, the stage is set for another continental fiesta where 16 of the best teams on the African Continent of Africa will log horns and vie for the coveted trophy from January 19-February 10.

The 29th African Cup of Nations to be hosted in South Africa will indeed come with a lot of expectations from the teaming supporters of the various competing countries as well as their governments.

Ghana has won the glorious trophy four (4) times and since our last win in 1982, luck has eluded us and our efforts in subsequent tournaments have not been blessed with the ultimate trophy.

The Outlaw Citizens of Ghana (OCOG), admits that Ghana has long been thirsty for the coveted trophy over the last three (3) decades and counting. We believe that the time is more than ripe for the nation to regain its lost glory on the African scene. Judging from the competing teams, the Black Stars preparations, the team spirit, player‘s thirst for laurels, strong governmental support, we can confidently declare the Black Stars will come out VICTORIOUS.

The Outlaw Citizens of Ghana (OCOG), by this release, lends its fullest support and encouragement to OUR GALLANT HEROES. We urge all and sundry in the nation to also rally behind our men for the game to make us all proud. We wish you well, Coach Akwasi Appiah and your Charges. Our prayers are for all of you. Our spirits are behind you. Hard work and determination has got nothing to do with failure, so GO FOR THE KILL.

Remove all forms of fear, timidity, inferiority complex, complacency and other vices that will hamper your progress from your way, and ONLY AIM HIGH. MAY GOD CROWN OUR ESTEEMED EFFORTS WITH A TROPHY THIS TIME!!!

God Bless BLACK STARS OF GHANA!!! God Bless our Motherland Ghana and make us strong!!
