Stars Storm Seoul

AFTER THEIR resplendent showing against Japan last Wednesday in Yokohama, Ghana's Black Stars will take on their South Korean opponents in their second international friendly in Seoul on Sunday.

Unless the unexpected happens, bookmakers have highly tipped the Africans to go past the Asians.

The Stars appear favourites in Sunday's clash taking into account the 3-1 victory they handed the Koreans prior to the Germany 2006 Mundial coupled with their current form.

From all indications, the duo that orchestrated the 1-0 victory, Razak Pinpong and Haminu Draman will gain first team shirts in the Seoul showdown.

Junior Agogo and Hans Adu Sarpei, who justified themselves in the Japan encounter, are sure candidates to start the game.

For Coach Le Roy, a second straight win will not only justify why he emerged as the best technical brain for the Stars' coaching job, but will send strong signals to other opponents the Stars might be facing in the near future.

The Stars arrived in Seoul from Japan where they left good foot prints with a 1-0 win yesterday to prepare for Sunday's game.
