Starlets beat Togolese counterpart

The National Under-17, the Black Starlet, last Sunday beat their Togolese counterpart 2-1 in the Togolese Capital, Lome. The match forms parts of Starlets? preparations towards the second leg of African U-17 Championship qualifiers, which will be played in Guinea on Sunday.

The Togolese opened the score line in the first half of the game followed by the equalizer by Osei Ransford, also in the first half. Nana Yaw Sarfo Kantanka increased the tally to 2-1 for the Starlets in the second half of the game. Meanwhile, the team will be living on Thursday to Guinea for the second leg encounter, but they are currently camping at Prampram.
