Football officials are meant to be impartial but a referee from Italy could not resist his admiration for midfielder Sulley Muntari on Saturday.
The referee approached the Ghana star and asked him to pose for a photograph with him ahead of Ittihad Jeddah’s friendly against lower division side Paveno.
Muntari featured for his new club from Saudi Arabia in their 7-0 victory.
The 30-year-old is well known in Italy after playing for Inter Milan, AC Milan and Udinese.
