Sports festival to be held at Agona Swedru

Cape Coast, July 27, GNA - More than 1,300 sports boys and girls will participate in the Central Region Inter Districts Under "15" Basic Schools sports festival scheduled for Agona Swedru from August 7 to August 15.

According to Mr Samuel Kotcha-Brew, the Regional Physical Education Organiser, Mr Isaac Edumadze, the Central Regional Minister would perform the official opening of the festival on Monday, August 9. He said disciplines to be competed for would include soccer, table tennis, volleyball, netball, athletics, and cross country.

The Festival is being organised by the Central Region Schools Sports Association with sponsorship by Parry and Company of Accra, producers of Star Kist.
