Public Relations Officer of the Ministry and Sports Elvis Adjei-Baah has disclosed that the Princesses will receive their bonuses as well as all outstanding money due to the national teams before the end of the week.

According to the spokesman of the Sports Ministry, the Black Princesses will receive a bonus of $2,000 for eliminating Algeria in the first round of the qualifiers of 2018 U-20 FIFA World Cup in France.

The team rounded off their impressive qualifiers against the North African country with a 10-0 aggregate over the two legs to reach the last round, where they continued their run with a 5-0 spanking of the Harambee Starlets in the first leg on Sunday.

"Hopefully by the close of the week, they should be receiving their cash," Elvis Adjei-Baah told Happy FM.

"Yest, it $1,000 per win so for advancing to the next stage, they get double for the two legged tie."

"However, it must be noted that payments would be made in the cedi equivalent. That is a policy of the Ministry of Sports that any athlete will be paid in our denomination."

"For the Princesses, we need to send a confirmation to the Bank of Ghana and their bank accounts provided by the GFA will be credited," he elaborated.
