Kente Fund Raising Dance In New York

On Saturday, April 14th, Agnes Manson aka Nana Yaa who is based in Bronx,
New York, USA organized a Kente fundraising event in aid of Agogo Hospital
and Hwidiem Primary School.

The event was under the chairmanship of; Nana & Mrs Charolotte Amoako, of
Charlottfield International Foods, NJ, distributors of Canned Foods:
Sardines, Mackerel in Tomato Sauce, Geisha, Corned Beef, Tuna Fish, Aben
Woha rice and many more. The Vice Chairperson of the occasion; Mr. & Mrs
John Ofori.

Also in attendance were; Dr. Leonard Jeffries, Nana Juaben Afrakoma, Ex
Asantefuohemaa of New York, Nana Brobbey aka Godfrey Brobbey, Deputy Police
Chief, Suny, NY, other royals, special invited guests, community leaders,
all members of Agogo Oman Kuo and Hwidiem Mmoa Kuo and others who came to
show their support.

There were great performances by Highlife legend; Eric Agyeman, Hiplife
artise; Nice and his crew, Joycelyn Baddoo and Grace Ama.

According to Ms Manson, funding was needed to purchase the following items
for Agogo Hospital; Syringles, needles, Hospital beds, Bed sheets, blanket
Blood Pressure Apparatus, Themometers and Oxygen cylinders.

Furthermore, they need funding to fight tuberculosis and malaria as well as
securing black boards for Hwidiem Primary School and also ensuring a study
supply of clean drinking water.

We encourage the Ghanaian community to support Agnes Manson on her
humanitarian effort.
