Special Flight for supporters accompany Meteors

Mr Abraham Boakye, leader and founder of the "One Man" supporters union has said his outfit is making special arrangements for interested soccer fans to travel with the Black Meteors to South Africa for their scheduled Olympic Games qualifier slated for March 13.

Mr Boakye said the flight arrangements are to ensure that the Meteors are accorded the necessary support to achieve the needed results since the South Africans may prove stubborn to protect their image even though they have nothing to gain from the match.

The "One Man" supporter who was speaking to the GNA Sports in Accra said the union had made arrangements for a chartered flight for interested supporters adding that those interested to make the trip will be required to pay a thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) each for the trip.
He said the amount is to cater for acquisition of visa, air fair, and hotel accommodation for four nights as well as internal travels for the whole period.
The chairman said the group is billed to leave the shores of the country on Wednesday March 10 and return on Monday March 15. Mr Boakye entreated interested supporters keen on making the trip to contact him latest by this Thursday to enable him process the needed documents for the trip.
He said there are only twenty vacant seats in the flight and priority will be given on a first come, first serve situation for supporters.
