Dwarfs & Vipers bereaved

THE death is reported of Nelson Mensah, a former striker of Vipers and later Dwarfs. He was 37.

He late Nelson Mensah was a former member of three national sides, the Satellites, Black Meteors and the Black Stars.

He last played for Vipers over a two-year period in the zone 2B Division One League.

He was the son of former Dwarfs goalkeeper, J. K. Mensah, and Regina Sam, and a brother to Walter Mensah of Xamax FC in Switzerland, Frank Mensah of Dwarfs, Monica and Emmanuel Mensah.

He is survived by wife and four children.
