Soccer Stars Join Hands To Fight Leukaemia

In a bid to use the passion of the Nation,Soccer to arrest some of the problems facing it, both current and former Ghanaian foreign based football stars will come together at 3:00 pm on saturday 23rd June 2007 to face the scientific soocer lads, Dansoman Liberty Professionals, in The Firt Annual DWIB Leukaemia charity Football Match, at the El wak sports stadium.

Beyond the desire of both sides to overcome each other is a noble mission of fighting the dangerous cancer of the blood, Leukaemia.

The fund raising match being organised by Kan world concepts for DWIB Leukaemia Trust(GH)will feature former and current Ghanaian razor sharp strikers, such as, Anthony Yeboah, Baba Armando, Kwame Ayew, Augustine Arhinful and Asamoah Gyan.

On parade in midfeild will be Laryea Kingston, Mohammed Gargo, Yaw rush Preko, Emmanuel Duah and a host of others.

Sammy Osei Kuffour will lead the defencive line made up of new Ghanaian sensation Ahmed Ampimah Barruso, Habib mohammed and others. The foreign based players will be under the technical guidance of former Ghanaian football Lord Rev. Osei Kofi.

A minute of silence would be observed for the late Luekaemia crusader and founder of DWIB Leukaemia Trust (GH),MR.Danny Whyte.
