Michael Osei has hailed his players' tactical awareness against Accra Hearts of Oak on Monday.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko handed their bitterest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak, 1-0 defeat at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra courtesy of goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye’s howler in the first half.
Hearts were tipped to beat Kotoko, but it turned out the other way round and Michael Osei has lauded the tactical discipline of his team.
“I said before the game that it was going to be a tactical game and the side that would be tactically disciplined would win the game.
“In the game, we were tactically disciplined,” he said after the game.
Asante Kotoko will host Dwarfs in the weekend while Hearts of Oak will visit Berekum Chelsea.
