Sierra Leone appoint John Keister as Sellas Tetteh’s deputy

Former Sierra Leone international John Keister has been appointed the new assistant coach of the senior national team, Leone Stars.

The former FC Johansen coach replaces coach Musa Kallon, who has been sacked, following a physical confrontation during the team’s training session a few days ago.

Keister is set to be reunited with head coach Sellas Tetteh as they prepare the team for the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of nations qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin.

He was heavily involved with Leone Stars during the Ghanaian’s first spell in 2014.
