Ghanaian midfielder Shadrach Eghan has revealed his contract with Norwegian side Stabaek IF is close to ending.

The 21-year-old has struggled to find game time at Stabaek in the Norwegian top-flight since his loan switch to the club.

Eghan's paperwork is yet to be sorted out by the Eredivisie side.

Twente are working secure a work permit for the former Akosombo Krystal Palace starlet.

He has revealed his contract is yet to end with Stabaek and could return to Twente.

"My contract will soon expire at Stabæk, but the problems with my work permit are not yet solved," he told Twente Insite.

Eghan hit the limelight at Twente three seasons ago but has been disturbed by work permit issues, forcing him to leave the Dutch top-flight league.
