Seventh Week league matches will come off

Accra, Oct. 20, GNA 96 The Professional League Board (PLB) has said that the Seventh Week Fixtures of the GT One Touch Premier League matches will be played at all the league centres on Saturday, 21st October and Sunday, 22nd October as scheduled.

It said the PLB has not been served with any court injunction as at the close of work on Friday and wish to inform the Premier League Clubs and the general public that the matches will definitely come off at all the centres.

Mr K. Ampim- Darko, Deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in a Press release copied to the GNA Sports on Friday evening, said it has come to its notice that a reported court injunction has been placed on the current league and wish to state that it has not been served with any court injunction and nothing of the sort has been received by the PLB.

He therefore requested all officiating officials, clubs and other stakeholders of the league matches to take note and assist in organizing the matches accordingly.
