Season was good in Sudan - Okrah

Augustine Okrah has expressed satisfaction with his achievement after his debut season with Sudanese giants Al Hilal.

The 2014 Ghana Premier League MVP and top scorer met expectations after helping the Omdurman side to win the Sudanese Premier League.

Okrah also helped the club to reach the semi-final of the CAF Champions League where they got eliminated by eventual winners TP Mazembe.

"It was all good in Sudan despite not winning the Caf Champions League," Okrah told Goal.

"This was my first time playing in an African league outside Ghana and I must admit that it wasn't easy but it ended well. I scored nine goals and finished three goals behind the top scorer but I think several factors favoured him.

"Merriekh were eliminated by TP Mazembe in Caf Champions League semi-finals and they eventually won it but I'm satisfied. A double would've been an awesome achievement but the league title is worth celebrating since it is my first major silverware on club side apart from winning the Ghana Premier League top scorer and best player in 2014."
