School receives set of jerseys and other sports kits

Ejisu-Krapa, (Ashanti) July 22, GNA - The Ejisu-Krapa Basic Schools on Wednesday received a donation of sports kits including two sets of football jersey, pants, footballs and volleyballs. The schools were also presented with plastic chairs and some money. Mr Charles Kwame Tonto, Head of the Asenie Abusua (Family) of the town who made the donation at Ejisu-Krapa said it was the contribution of the family towards helping to unearth and develop sports talents in the area.

The Ejisu-Krapa Gyaasehene, Nana Kwaku Kesse appealed for more public support to expand the school's classrooms to ease the present congestion and allow for a conducive teaching and learning atmosphere. He called for the donations of computers and library books to support the pupils in their studies.

Ms Helena Yeboah, Headmistress of the Junior High School (JHS) and Mrs Joan Begidah, the Head-teacher o9f the Primary school who jointly received the donation expressed their gratefulness to their benefactors.
