Aduana FC coach Samuel Boadu says tactical adjustments have played a key role in his side’s improved results ahead of Sunday’s Ghana Premier League clash with Swedru All Blacks.
The Fire Boys have responded strongly to an early-season setback against FC Samartex, winning their last two matches, including an impressive victory over Asante Kotoko last weekend.
Boadu believes the players’ ability to follow the tactical instructions given to them was central to their recent success.
“Nothing much. Those players who played the last Sunday game at home are the players who played the Kotoko match, and then there’s a little bit of the tactical changes and the tactical approach. We went there with a tactical approach, so the players stuck to our tactics. That’s the reason why we got our points.”
Aduana will now attempt to make it three consecutive victories when they welcome All Blacks to the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park on Sunday.
The Fire Boys are seeking to build momentum and establish themselves as serious contenders for the league title after their difficult start.
Boadu’s side have also strengthened their off-field structure with the appointment of club legend Sam Adams as team manager.
All Blacks, meanwhile, have struggled for consistency and are without a win in their last two matches.
The visitors’ only victory this season came at home, leaving them still searching for their first away win as they prepare for a difficult trip to Dormaa.
