Hon Samia Nkrumah, CPP MP for the Jomoro Constituency in the Western region of Ghana wishes to congratulate the Black Stars of Ghana for making it to the finals in the African Cup of Nations tournament underway in Angola where they will be playing Egypt also one of the founding nations of this highly esteemed tournament.

Indeed this soccer tournament is one of the instruments employed to foster the Pan African agenda through sports. The first President of Ghana Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah was very instrumental in the institution of this soccer fiesta. It is therefore little surprising that the Black Stars would be playing in the final once again since 1992 as we celebrate the centenary of his birth.

There is a lot to be learnt from our stars. They have shown that with strong will and determination Ghana as well as Africa can turn things around politically, economically and socially all to the well being of the masses.

We believe that the Black will shine and live up to expectation.
