Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Sadick Adams says he is hopeful that his recent hard work will earn him a senior national team call up, as Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah rebuilds the Ghana team in the face of the 2018 World Cup failure.

Sadick Adams who is back in the country to revive his career after some failed stints in Europe and elsewhere, has had a relative good season, and made the headlines when he scored a hat-trick to help Kotoko beat rivals Hearts of Oak in the 2017 MTN FA Cup final held in Tamale last month.

Adams churned out an amazing 45 minutes display in which he scored three times to put Kotoko on the path to their 9th FA Cup title.

In attendance to watch that game in Tamale was Maxwell Konadu, who was also in charge when Ghana won the recently ended WAFU Cup of Nations hosted here in Ghana.

Speaking to GhanaWeb.com in Tamale after the game, Konadu was full of praise of Adams, but was quick to add that the striker must work hard and be consistent if he is to get a look in when the next call-ups are made.

Sadick says he recent displays suggests that he is in good shape and can be relied upon when needed.

The former Athletico Madrid players is readying himself to help Kotoko fight for next year’s CAF Confederations Cup but also adds that he will consider foreign offers that comes his way.
