Asante Kotoko’s top marksman, Saddick Adams may not be able to play until the end of this month, Head Coach of the club, Steven Polack has disclosed.

Although the striker doesn’t seem to have a serious injury, Kotoko’s technical team is taking precautionary measures to help the player.

Saddick Adams didn’t play in Sunday’s game against Eleven Wonders which they won 1-0, courtesy a penalty neatly converted by Obed Owusu in the 37th minute.

Despite winning, questions were asked about the striker’s absence, prompting a response.

“No, he won’t play. It’s not serious injury, it’s just caution. He has a therapy review next week and he won’t be playing till probably ending of January” said Polack.

Coach Steven Polack also explained that the penalty awarded to his side was a good one.

“Where I was sitting, it was a clear penalty, that is my opinion” the coach stated.

Kotoko will face Dreams FC on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
