Sabahn Quaye dares Sports Minister over Jeeps

Black Stars team manager Sabahn Quaye has dared the Sports Minister, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye to prove that he petitioned his ministry over Grand Cherokee vehicles handed the team for placing second at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Quaye’s outburst comes in the wake of the firebrand minister confirming to Nhyira FM that he had received petitions from the Team Manager(Quaye) and Team Doctor, Adam Baba, that they have not received their vehicles.

“I have not written any letter to the minister, I dare the minister to come and prove whether I have asked for anything,” he said on Asempa FM. He should produce the letter.”

The Minister later sent a text message to the show describing Sabahn Quaye as a coward and stressing that he would not pursue the matter anymore because the people at the centre of the dispute were scared of being victimised.
