SWAG wishes Dogboe well ahead of Saturday showdown against Naverette

The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), has extended goodwill message to former World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Super Batamweight Champion, Isaac “The Royal Storm” Dogboe, ahead of his crucial world title re-match against Mexican boxer, Emanuel Naverette of Mexico.

The "Royal Storm" would have a chance to redeem and reclaim his title when he battles Naverette on May 11 at the Tucson Arena, Arizona, USA.

A statement from the secretariat of SWAG said, the Association is confident, Dogboe will reclaim the title from the Mexican and “we are solidly behind him in his quest to bring honour to the country”.

“SWAG is happy with your preparations ahead of the bout and we urge you to do more in your conquest to become a world champion again,” the statement added.

The Association entreated team Dogboe to stay focus and provide all the necessary assistance to ensure a successful outing and reclaim the title which he lost in December last year.
