Former BA United CEO, Roy Arthur, is set to take charge of Berekum Arsenal by acting as their new Chief Executive Officer, Kickgh.com can reveal.
The Central Region RFA chairman is in advance talks with the former premier league campaigners in order to finance their club.
This comes as a welcome news and a big relief for the founder and bankroller of the club, Yakubu Moro, as he struggles to finance his side.
A close source to the club told Kickgh.com that the young football administrator has even started shouldering some responsibilities by offering financial assistance to the Berekum-based club.
He added that players' winning bonus, monthly salaries and accommodation are all going to be well catered for by their incoming boss and will attach more seriousness to it in executing his duties.
A club insider told Kickgh.com; " Yes, I can confirm to you that former BA United CEO, Roy Arthur will be financing Berekum Arsenal by acting as the new CEO,"
"Actually, he has even started taking care of the team's expenses by offering some financial support in doling out some cash to be given to the playing body,"
"Winning bonuses, monthly salaries and accommodation are all going to be given much attention by Roy Arthur if he takes charge of Berekum Arsenal,"
"Though, the deal is not totally settled yet as there're some other things to be done before he can commence work on a full-time basis," the source stated.
BA United sacked Roy Arthur as their club figurehead following claims of insubordination for failing to render proper accounts with his former outfit on his administration job.
