Round of 64 of Knock-out competition enters final phase

Accra, Feb. 02, GNA - Troubled Accra Hearts of Oak will seek to embark on an image redemption exercise on Sunday when they take on Division One side, Pure Joy Football Club in the final phase of the round of 64 stage of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Knock-out competition at the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra.

Hearts, who are currently placed third from bottom will have to win the game to send strong signals of hope to their fans ahead of the resumption of the Premier League, whilst Pure Joy who have given Hearts a tough opposition in all matches since joining association football will strive to worsen the plight of Hearts.

At the Cape Coast Stadium, Ebusua Dwarfs will engage defending League champions Aduana Stars in an uncompromising encounter whilst Nania FC play host to Mighty Youngsters at the University of Ghana Park, Legon, with Liberty Professionals welcoming Tano Bofoakwa.

King Solomon and Tudu Mighty Jets will lock horns at the Tema Stadium on Saturday, February 5.

Prior to the weekend clashes, Tema All Stars will engage New Edubiase at the Tema Stadium, on Friday, February 3, with Inter Allies battling New Edubiase at Amasaman on the same day.

Winners from this stage of the competition will be thrown into anothe= r round of pairing by the organizers for the next stage of the competition.
