Roma chasing Fenerbahce's Appiah

Roma are following Stephen Appiah's situation at Fenerbahce. The Ghana international has expressed a desire to leave Istanbul after starring for Ghana in this year's World Cup.

Portsmouth and Arsenal have been linked with Appiah, but Roma coach Luciano Spalletti is also keen and hopes to lure the former Juventus, Parma and Udinese midfielder back to Italy.
