In-form Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom says he does not count his goals after netting his season's 13th in 1-0 win over Spartak Subotica in the Serbian Liga.

The Ghana international converted a 23nd minute penalty to ensure Red Star maintained their four-point lead after 14 rounds of matches.

He has become the top foreign scorer for Red Star Belgrade in the club's 72-year history.

After the match, the 24-year-old played his rich conversion rate.

''I do not count goals. I do not even know how much I have achieved this season. I do not want to be burdened by this, I just want to do my best to help the team,'' Boakye said.

''Without my teammates, I cannot achieve anything.

''I am always confident when I run the penalties, so even today I did not have any problems.

''After the goal I had a few more chances that I unfortunately did not utilize them.

''It's football and mistakes are an integral part of the game and it's only important to keep working hard and trying. That's the only way you can make progress.''
