Richard Oblitey Commey wins in round 5

Unbeaten Ghanaian lightweight Richard Oblittey Commey maintained the 100% start to his career as well as a 100% knock-out record last week Saturday in the UK when he claimed a 5th round stoppage win over home favourite Kris Hughes in the bout scheduled for 8 rounds.

After improving his career record to 13-0, 13 KOs, Commey is expected to soon get a date for the WBC International silver Lightweight belt against Tommy Coyle courtesy the victory over southpaw Hughes before a huge crowd at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, London.

“We thank God for the win in round 5. We thank all our fans for supporting us and please keep it up for us because the future looks bright,” Lawrence Lokko, trainer of Commey said after the victory.Credit:
