Commey, won on points in his last fight against the Belgian and this has pushed him into the first ten of the recent rankings released by the respected organization.

Commey, who attempted a shot at the world title last year, but failed at the hands of Robert Easter Jr, is keen on making another attempt at the world title by the end of the year to realize his long cherished dream of becoming a world champion.

He is likely to take on another fight in the course of the year, in a bid to break into the first contenders in the Lightweight division to enhance his chances of getting the nod to fight for the title.

This will obviously pave the way for the skillful boxer to try his luck on another world title by the close of the year.

The Ghanaian will be looking forward to fighting Mikey Garcia of Mexico, who is undefeated after 36 fights, with 30 ending by knockout, for the title.

Officials from the camp of the 29 year old, Commey are optimistic the Ghanaian will be given another opportunity, to fight another person in the ranking in a bid to move up.

Commey, is regarded as one of the best world title hopefuls for the country following his impressive record since turning a professional.
